Powers Activate is the action-packed new studio album by American synth-pop band Candy Apple Blue. Focusing on an authentic 1980's pop sound, this album is a professional and polished release. The musical duo worked closely with Netherlands producer Matt Pop and Canadian producer Juno Dreams to create a sound that is both unique and commercial. The disc features guest vocal performances from Nick Bramlett and Ariella da Vil.
The album was mastered by celebrated audio engineer Mike Marsh (Capital Cities, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure). Powers Activate contains a wide spectrum of 14 colorful pop songs including the upbeat tracks Let's Dance All Night, Can't Stop Thinking of You and Detonator. Also, you can hear intimate ballads such as Awakening, When You Decide to Love Someone and No One Else Could Ever Love You (More Than I Do).

Totally digging "Powers Activate" CD. Spent all my teen years nestled in the 80's. Y'all have a GREAT sound! FYI, stumbled across your name and album on the Techmoan YouTube channel. After watching his video, I immediately came here to buy your CD. Had to have a physical copy due to the creative album art! :-) Keep it up. Can't wait to see what's next. Definitely spreading the word.

Mat is a wonderful chap and we are very grateful that he got behind our album the way that he did and used it in his product review video. We've just begun production on our forthcoming album, Second Sight. We've got a lot of work ahead of us but it makes it all worth it to know that their are people out in the world, like you RockDawg, that care! Powers Activate indeed.
